 Roads Repaired: Old Milledgeville Road, Cedar Creek Drive, and Mattox Creek Drive. 

Hi, McDuffie County!

Many local roads are experiencing the burden of Hurricane Helene and continued heavy rains, and have experienced significant washouts, leaving sections in need of urgent repair and culverts requiring immediate attention.

It's important for everyone to stay alert and follow posted road signs for your safety. These signs are crucial for guiding drivers through areas that may be unstable or hazardous.

Please, do not remove or ignore them—they’re there to protect you and ensure safe travel.

Local county officials are working to address the damage, and your cooperation in following the signs will help prevent accidents and delays.

Old Milledgeville Road is closed from Mount Pleasant to Kitchens Road, due to a severe weakened culvert. Please find alternative routes until Public Works can safely replace the culvert.
