The City of Thomson Natural Gas Department supplies natural gas to the citizens of Thomson. The department also provides gas to certain areas of McDuffie County, Warren County, Glascock County and Jefferson County.
Rebates
Want to convert your electric water heater to natural gas? We'll give you a $400 rebate. Always wanted a set of natural gas logs? We'll send you a rebate of $100. The City of Thomson offers its natural gas customers rebates when they install new natural gas appliances. If you are a qualified City of Thomson natural gas customer, follow these easy three steps to cash in on your rebate:
- Call Gas Director Rodney Dunaway at 706-595-1781 to verify that you qualify for the rebate.
- Purchase and install one of the natural gas appliances listed below.
- Call the City of Thomson to apply for your rebate. Must have a valid proof of purchase.
The City offers the following rebates effective 8/15/2023:
