Senior Center Flooring

McDuffie County is currently seeking competitive sealed bids for flooring improvements at the Thomson-McDuffie County Senior Citizens Center located at 304 Greenway Street,

Thomson, Georgia 30824.

Bid Specifications:

One bid must provide the labor costs for the removal and disposal of the existing floor along with repairing any necessary subfloor damages.

A second bid must provide the labor costs for installing the new flooring over the existing floor.

All bids must include the purchase and installation of a 20-mil wear layer LVT flooring, Aladdin Commercial, Forest Lawn “Portobella” 5.0 by Mohawk, for 8,736 square feet with a 10-year commercial warranty; install a 4-inch vinyl cove base for 1,800 linear feet, and install all door strips.

Bid must also include the costs of moving furniture, along with all supplies and materials needed to complete the floor installation.

Requirements:

All vendors are required to complete a W-9, Contractor Affidavit and Agreement, provide a copy of Business License and Insurance Coverage information.

Procedures:

Sealed bids will be accepted until April 25, 2025 at 4 pm. Bids may be mailed to 210 Railroad Street, Thomson, Georgia 30824 or hand delivered to the same address. Please address all bids to the Procurement Department, Attention: Lori Ducey, Sealed Bid – Senior Citizens Center.
