Position:                  Code Enforcement Officer/Building Inspector

Department:            Planning

Grade:                        20

This position is responsible for performing City/County building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing inspections and enforcement of the code of ordinances or any applicable codes and ordinances as may now or in the future be assigned.

Minimum qualifications includes: 

High school graduate or equivalent
One – two years college or junior college basic course work, preferred
Knowledge of building construction, preferred
Training in law enforcement, preferred
