Effective Immediately the Augusta Highway City Recycling Center will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, but will be unmanned. There is no change in what materials are accepted and containers are present for customer recycling items. We will maintain the City recycling center in an unmanned status through Friday, April 1, 2022 at which time we will determine the feasibility of keeping the unmanned recycling center open on Augusta Highway or if we shift recycling operations to the McDuffie County landfill on Mesena Road or elsewhere.
