Mandatory / Must Appear Offenses:
- DUI
- HIT AND RUN
- SUSPENDED, CANCELLED OR REVOKED LICENSE
- RACING
- AGGRESSIVE DRIVING
- DRIVING ON SUSPENDED TAG OR REGISTRATION
- NO INSURANCE
- POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA LESS THAN ONE OUNCE
- SHOPLIFTING
- VIOLATION LIMITED PERMIT
- FLEEING/ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE
- UNDERAGE ALCOHOL – POSSESSION WHILE OPERATING A VEHICLE, PURCHASE OR SALE
- UNDER 21 DRIVERS-ANY 4 OR MORE POINT OFFENSE
- SPEEDING 24 OR MORE OVER THE LIMIT
- RECKLESS DRIVING
- PASSING ON A HILL OR CURVE
- PASSING A SCHOOL BUS
An officer may also make your charge a mandatory court appearance. If the officer does this, he or she will check the mandatory appearance box on your bond appearance paperwork. If you are unsure if your charge is a mandatory court appearance, call and verify with the court clerk.
Failure To Appear
Failure to pay your fine or appear in court will result in additional fines, a license suspension and possibly a warrant issued for your arrest
